Oasis landing

It was in that perfect little city she'd discovered she was pregnant and she couldn't have been more ecstatic, but at the same time, the news brought a dark despair to her heart. Phineas was back in Midnight Hollow and she was here in Oasis Landing, he wasn't talking to her, had no idea she was expecting. and she had no intention of telling him.

The time passed quickly, and she almost forgot about Phineas and Midnight Hollow. They were happy in Oasis Landing.

Then the day came that her water broke, the pains increased and she went through it alone to give birth to a beautiful little girl, Calla Lumine.

They stayed there for almost a year, happy, but the guilt began to eat away at her until she couldn't take it anymore and had to go back and let Phineas know.

So they packed everything up and headed back, the four of them, her dread and guilt increasing with every mile that passed.

They reached Midnight Hollow late in the light well pass twelve. So they just headed back to their small little house that wasn't really equipped for a child, but it would have to do for now.

The very next morning first thing, Marie got up, dressed her and Calla Lumine in their best winter clothes and headed to Phineas' place. She had to get this over with, then they could go home to Oasis Landing.

Her nerves got worse the closer they came, her heartbeat increased and Calla Lumine began to fuss.

She closed her eyes and prayed, forcing her heart to calm and cooed to Calla Lumine as they pulled up in front of the drive.

She walked up to the door and knocked and what happened next surprised even her...and she wasn't one to be surprised truth be told.
